Sergeant Robert A. Guilliams

Sergeant Robert A. Guilliams was killed in a traffic crash on February 16, 2001. Sgt. Guilliams was responding to a previous traffic crash when he lost control of his patrol car on southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County approximately 16 miles north of the Arkansas line. Sgt. Guilliams' patrol car slid off the rain-soaked roadway at approximately 4:20 a.m. and struck a bridge abutment in the median of I-55.

Sergeant Robert A. Guilliams, 41, was the 21st member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to lose his life in the line of duty. He was survived by his wife and two young children.
